North Oaks Company

North Oaks Company was formed in the 1950s by Louis Hill, Jr., grandson of railroad pioneer, James J. Hill, who originally owned the land within the city of North Oaks.

Louis Hill recognized North Oaks' potential to become an extraordinary residential site. Over the years, development has been carefully planned and implemented to preserve the unique nature of North Oaks. North Oaks Company is the primary developer of the land.

The Company's offices are located in North Oaks, off Centerville Road near County Road J, above Tria Restaurant. North Oaks Company is part of the Harpur Companies, which is involved in farming, forestry and land development.

Home sites for sale

Currently, there are selected lots for sale in three developments — Rapp Farm, the Villas of Wilkinson Lake, and Red Forest Way. In addition, there are several other lots for sale in other parts of North Oaks.

Our team of professionals is available to help you with all aspects of lot selection, purchase, and site design. Additionally, we provide guidance in choosing an architect/designer and builder familiar with North Oaks. While many buyers choose traditional lot financing, North Oaks Company offers a Contract for Deed with the following terms.

10% Down Payment (Earnest Money)
15% At Closing*
25% Total Down Payment

The balance is to be paid over a two-year period in two annual installments or prior to home construction. There will be a simple annual interest applied. Please contact us for the current rate. There is no Pre-Payment Penalty.

*Closing is usually within 60 days from the date of the Purchase Agreement.
